Play Store error RH-01: causes and fix
Error RH-01 appears when Play Store can't talk to Google. Check date and time, your account, Google Play services and device certification.
"Error retrieving information from server. [RH-01]" looks like DF-DFERH-01 but has more specific causes: a wrong date or time, a broken account session, or a device without Google services properly installed (custom ROMs, Amazon Fire or uncertified devices).
Step 1: automatic date and time
- Open SettingsSystemDate & time. On Samsung: SettingsGeneral managementDate and time.
- Turn on automatic date and time and automatic time zone.
- If they were already on, turn them off, set a different time manually, then turn them back on.
Step 2: clear the store and services
Clear Play Store cache then storage, clear Google Play services cache, and restart.
Step 3: reconnect your account
If you recently changed your password, turned on 2-Step Verification or restored the phone from a backup, remove the account in SettingsPasswords & accountsGoogleRemove account, restart and add it back.
Step 4: reinstall Play Store
Uninstall store updates or install 53.2.23.
If your device isn't a "normal" Android
